FAQ
Can I use both earphones separately?
Yes, each earbud could be used independently.
The earphones are turning on, but it doesn't connect to my device?
To connect the earbuds to your device, please check if the Bluetooth of the device is on at first, then select ‘EarFun Air S’ on the Bluetooth list to get paired. If the earbuds still can’t connect to your device, please try to reset it, pr contact our customer support.
Why the connection is not stable and cuts out intermittently?
Please make sure there are no objects between the earphones and your Bluetooth device, and make sure there is no radio or WIFI interference nearby.
What is the range of Bluetooth earphones?
Bluetooth earphones have maximum range of 49 feet(15m, no obstacle). However, the actual range will depend on usage and environment.
Is the volume control on the earphones?
Yes, touch L earbud once decrease the volume and touch R once could increase it.
My earphones will not switch on.
Is the charging case waterproof?
No, the earbuds are sweat & waterproof, but the charging case is not waterproof.
Will the earbuds shut off automatically?
The earbuds will remain on as long as they are connected to a device. If no audio is in use, they will enter power-saving mode and wake up once audio is played. If the earbuds are not connected with any device, they will automatically shut off in 10 minutes.
Why does the EarFun Audio App not show the battery info for earbuds?
The App takes a few seconds to read the battery info from earbuds, so there is a delay.
Why can't the Air S be added to the EarFun Audio App?
The earbuds must be connected to your phone first, then you can add them in the App.
I've changed the name of the earbuds on the EarFun Audio App, but it didn't work.
Please ensure you’ve followed the re-name steps after modifying the earbuds’ name:
1. Put the earbuds back into the charging case and close it for 10 secs waiting.
2. Ignore the paired info on your phone
3. Open and re-paired the earbuds to your phone.
How to factory reset the earbuds on the EarFun Audio App?
1. Connect the earbuds to your phone first;
2. Enter the App’s product setting list;
3. Click the “Factory Reset” option to complete.
Why does the EarFun Audio App need location access?
The EarFun Audio App uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to find your EarFun devices. If you’re using Android 6.0 or higher require location services be enabled to use BLE.
If not enabled location services, the App cannot discover your EarFun device, and you cannot complete the App set up.
Don’t worry, we’re only interested in setting up your device with EarFun Audio App, and we don’t use location services as a result of setting up your App.
